Worldwide Rosary for the Unborn

It’s very soon! On Saturday, October 18th, preferably during the 9:00 a.m. hour in whichever time zone you are in, please pray the Rosary for this specific intention:

“For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies.”

In the meantime, please do two things to prepare:

  • Spread the word to as many people as you can between now and the 18th. The Website provides an email-able information sheet in at least 12 languages!

As stated on the Web site:

“…it is hoped that the earth will be circled with multiple waves of Rosaries within a 24-hour time period.”

You can order the following bumper sticker from that Web site:

This closing comment is not part of the event, but it is a timely connection that I make personally and maybe you will, too. I see the timing as part of God’s plan to increase the prayers being offered prior to the election. Who other than God would have known the sharp contrast of candidates that we would face this November? The human organizer of this event has conducted several variations of the “worldwide rosary” and “one million rosaries” for the unborn, so I know that this one is not something he suddenly decided to do. It could only be our Father in Heaven who ordained that the timing coincide. I imagine that Our Lady is the one who gave the organizer the idea. And now it’s up to us to follow through, by praying together for the stated intention and perhaps including an additional intention for the outcome of the election which is a little more than three weeks away.
